Fence Kit
Savannah Font Rezzer
Wood Fence Kit, 10 pieces included, comes with both PBR and non PBR textures. Each piece is 1 prim with the exception of the gates, which use 3 prims.

An ASCII character set featuring 152 characters and controlled by a simple to use font rezzer. Simply drag the rezzer to the ground, grant it link permissions, click it and enter your phrase. If the rezzer is placed at an angle, the text will follow that angle. 8 metal types are included selectable by a texture change script included in the rezzed characters. It is a great tool for making signs of all kinds.

A few notes:

Upon rezzing the font rezzer, you will be prompted to grant "Link permissions." If you don't do so, the rezzer will still work, but the characters will not be linked together and the texture change script won't function (If the letters are linked together manually, making sure the far left character is the root prim, then the texture change script will work.)

Once rezzed, the characters will link themselves together and the root prim will contain a material selector script. Material options include Silver, Gold, Aluminum, Brass, Steel, Old Steel, Copper and Rusted. (It can take 10 or 15 seconds for the linking to complete so it's best to wait a bit before clicking the phrase to set the metal.)

Many special characters are included that can't easily be typed, the included notecard contains a complete list and they can be copy and pasted from there. When using many special characters consider putting the phrase together on a notecard and pasting it into the rezzer dialog. Also, the double quote character cannot be used in a string, so it needs to also be treated as a special character.

I have included two versions of the rezzer, a high LOD and mid LOD. Characters rezzed with the high LOD will have a higher land impact but will hold up from a greater distance, the mid LOD will work for most needs and will have a much lower land impact, but will break apart sooner from a distance.

Rez rights will be needed not only at the point the rezzer is placed, but also across the full width of the phrase being rezzed.

When clicked the dialog will listen for 3 minutes and then time out, if working with a phrase that contains many special characters, I recommend putting the string together in a notecard first.

Due to limitations in the distance prims can communicate with each other, the rezzed characters can be no longer than about 21M wide. Any phrase longer than that will need to be split up into shorter ones.
